We’ve found the winner!

Now we’ve found the true artisan of taste 2022. Michael Hajiyianni from Ruby went all the way with his cocktail “Small Connections” made on Diplomático Planas.

When every bartender had presented their cocktail and the judges had finished their voting, Michael could recieve – apart from the glory, of course – a trip to Diplomático’s distillery in Venezuela. From that moment on, he became a part of the global Diplomático bartender family and will be looking forward to seeing his cocktail included in the international Diplomático cocktail book.

The runner up challenging Michael for this years title was Nikolaj Rasmussen from Esmée, who made a great presentation of his cocktail: “Infiní Banana” which was also based on Diplomático Planas. Shortly behind him, in third place, came Riccardo Astiri from TATA with his cocktail: “Summer Crave” based on Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva. A huge congratulations to the three of you from the whole Sprit & Co. team!

Once again thanks to all who participated and sent us their cocktail – even though you might not have reached the final, let alone win it, we hope you had a blast and learned a bit about craftmanship, sustainability and local responsobility – we surely did.
